Buckeye Community Health Plan’s Termination of The Health Alliance Buckeye Community Health Plan has made the unfortunate decision to end its contract with the physicians and hospitals of The Health Alliance. Effective April 30, 2009, University Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Fort Hamilton Hospital, The Drake Center, University Pointe Surgical Hospital and Alliance Primary Care will no longer accept new or existing patients with Buckeye insurance. We are deeply disappointed that Buckeye has decided to prevent its members from accessing our network of leading physicians and hospitals. The Health Alliance does accept Aged, Blind and Disabled Medicaid patients with AMERIGROUP Community Care insurance. Health Alliance patients who are affected by this change may contact our customer service hotline at 513-585-7600 to speak with a Health Alliance representative.
