Planning for Retirement |
- Establish a 401K savings plan through one of the
Alliance Tax Sheltered providers.
- Use the 401K calculator to estimate how much money
to put into a Tax Sheltered.
- Submit a Request for an Estimate Form annually
so you will know how much pension you may expect when
you retire.
- Request an estimate of your retirement benefit
from the Social Security Administration. You may request
an estimate by calling 1-800-772-1213.
- Engage a professional to help you with estate planning
and a will.
- Establish a Durable Power of Attorney for property
and for health care. A Durable Power of Attorney is
often executed as a precautionary measure, long before
the onset of a disability.
